I have been gathering information and parts from this thread and several others on the project I'm working on now. I have found a Name/address in Meza, Arizona that help's guy's with there projects. The main topic is dropping a Cummins /auto trans in my '73 dually. Has anyone had or heard of Reliable Diesel?
Thanks Dan

I saw somewhere that was doing these swaps but can't find it now. It would be easier with a NV4500, though

Thanks, I've have had my right arm removed leaving me helpless.
You see I use to have a stick shift and I was out riding around with a girlfriend when my hand slepped off the gear knob. Do I need to explain further?

Cummins

these guys are the ones. TDR . turbo diesel registry . they charge to be a member but you can browse for free.
they have an area under 'GENERAL DISCUSSIONS' called 'ROUNDTABLE' that they discuss just such things. probably woth the $$ for the education. I am interested also in how hard that is. I sawa clean 78 Chevy dually with cummins sell on ebay a few months back. I emailed the guy and asked for help because he stated it was professionally done by a conversion outfit but got no reply from him. DAVE
