Hello from somewhere in the Pacific! Terrible connectivity....first time able to post since we deployed. Cross the date line tonight. Go to sleep on Tuesday and wake up Thursday? Guess I'll be well rested!

The wife assures me that my beloved truck is sleeping peacefully in the garage and that she starts it every weekend. I in return assure her that I miss her more than my truck!

Save lots of $$$ out here. Hmmm......maybe rebuild the motor & tranny when I get home.....

Bless you for your service! There are many of us who are truly grateful and think of all of our service members constantly. Little prayer every morning when I fly my flag and every night when I take her down.

And no worries, Wednesday will be back next week! =)

In my day, we went over on Uncle Sams elaborate cruise ship. 2,200 troops + ships crew on a ship about 50 feet long. Seemed like.

Thank you for your service. We wouldn't be able to do what we do if it weren't for you and many others just like you. Our son Michael would speak about this each time he deployed or went overseas. Kinda hard to wrap your head around it. At least it is for me..lol Stay safe!! WES

missing the day is alot better than the "ground hog day" when you are counting down the days on a deployment. Ask me how i know!!

that's ok man, just wait til you have to come back. you'll get to do the same day all over again. and the ship's cruel joke is to play ground hog day on one chanel, sometimes all movie chanels, the entire day. its funny for the first 2-3 times, but after that it gets old. what squadron/shop/ship you workin out of/on?
