65 side trim suppliers feedback

Well I have not had any luck finding a complete used set of the side trim for my swb truck and was wondering has anyone used any of the repro sets? Who's sets did you use and how is the fit and finish?
Thanks
Jimmy

Re: 65 side trim suppliers feedback

I bought the complete shortbed trim set from MAR-K a couple of months ago. It's not getting installed for a few weeks, but it looks very good out of the packaging, which was a 1x4 that had the trim wrapped to it and then slid into a thick cardboard tube with a 4" hole. Very good packaging. I also bought a front bed panel and it was great. Thick, heavy, fits great, and has evenly spaced CNC welds. I bought SS bed wood strips and they look great. The body shop my truck is at bought a wood kit from them and it fit perfect. I would buy anything they sell.

Re: 65 side trim suppliers feedback

I will have to look on his site again. I found trim for the 67 and up trucks but not the 64-66 trim. Thanks for the feed back.

Re: 65 side trim suppliers feedback

MAR-K sells the clips that snap into holes in the bed, as original. Some companies sell some that are double stick taped to the bed and I have heard bad things about those, but not from my own experience. MAR-K told me they sell their stuff to another company as well.
