I saw an add on CL a week or so ago in CT, company in CA has all kinds of cabs and beds for 67-72 trucks, they specialize in them, and they have a truck that comes to CT once a month. They are often at the stafford spring ct swap meet.
I can't find the add, and i've checked all the CL ads. I thought i bookmarked it but no luck. Anyone got a clue who i might be talking about?
I can see the pics from the web site, had a couple cabs on the ground and a bed on top of a conex box on the right of the picture.
I'm shooting in the dark here.

I meet the guy a couple of years back and he gave me his number at the stafford spring show. last year i tryed to call the number and it was out of order and i didn't see him again at stafford. Stafford is april 10th i hope to be going and if i see him again i'll get his number and let you know.

Many years ago, I bought a complete power steering setup and power brake setup from them for my first 1970 truck. Their price was decent, shipping was fast and they were good to deal with.

As far as Vintage Chevy, yes I have, Bill is a great guy!

I remember seeing an add on CL also, there was a couple guys that did long distance hauling and would bring beds/cabs back on the return trip and sell the stuff on CL, haven't checked in a while not sure if they are still doing it.

I sent a request, see if i get reply about shipping. I might have to make the trip to Stafford for the swap meet. Anyone know if a 72 cab will fit in a 6ft bed pick up? lol

the ad was a week ago and did say they had someone coming back once a month.

I was going to say Vintage Chevy Trucks,but I see you figured it out. Bill is a great resource. I found this site through a link on his site. Ask Jerry Moss about him. He's not far and Jerry knows him,too.

That sounds great. I'm trying to get off work, and see if the little lady wants to make the trip. Its 4 hours for us one way, so i'd probably stay overnight somewhere. Work is going to be the tough part. But if i do i'll let you know.

Not to hijack your thread but there was also one I remember that was in Illinois , saw it in one of the buckaroo truck mags years ago, a little closer and they did 55 to 72......

You will have to call Bill at Vintage, he does not respond to emails. I have never brought from him as I have felt that his prices are high, but then again, that is his work and he needs to put food on his table whereas I do this for a hobby. I have sold him quite a few of my parts at swap meets.

Jerry Moss knows him more closely and stands up for him.
