Got the first major piece for my project...

Well, I got the first piece of my project. Bought a really clean cab and brought it home yesterday, hope to pick up a swb chassis (from another board member) soon!

Nice cab! I am doing the same thing right now, I bought a rust free cab and a totally finished rolling chassis to start my project! Nothing like rust free metal!

That is funny!

I like to look at them, other people on the road scare the crap out of me! The cab is in my buddies garage while I work on his '69 Camaro, it's his motorcycle.

Re: Got the first major piece for my project...

Well the one I was in the middle of building is in pieces. It will be all over the country by the end of the month. The LSX swapped 72 stepper is getting driven often. However, its about to come apart for a 5.3 to 6.0 swap and some other fun stuff. You know me, it will be wild when its done. Still not positive if I want to keep it a stepper or use my really nice Fleet side bed on it.

I was amazed at how the 5.3 sounded like a old school small block with a big cam! Very cool.
