07 Wheels on a 70
Need a little help. I would really like to put a set of 07 GMC wheels on my 70 GMC pickup. However the center hole on the 07 is apparently too small. Has anyone done this, and does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?
They are 6 lug wheels.

haven't done it, but you should be able to have the center hole machined out to the proper size.

Re: 07 Wheels on a 70
if you hog out the hole, then you'll find the back spacing to be way off. At best, it'll look funny, at worst, you won't be able to turn the wheels much up front. (all this depends on what '07 wheels you use)
A spacer is about the only way to make it work right, but they aren't a very good idea in all reality, and if you do go with them do NOT get the cheap ones. You get what you pay for, and a wheel passing you at 70 MPH on the freeway would suck for you and everyone else around. |

Re: 07 Wheels on a 70
Thanks for the advice guys. I just sold my set for more than i purchased them for, so I guess all is well that ends well. It's too bad though I think they would have looked good.
