newbie: Got some pics taken

Forgot to snap some under the hood.....
The body is rusty, but it works. The engine had been rebuilt before I got it. Has some model or RV cam in it, not shure wich one. Headers, dual exhaust with flowtech afterburners, Edelbrock 2101, Edelbrock 1406, HEI ignition, Acell shorty plugs and wires, 350 trans.
Has a factory 4row radiator that is nice for pulling. haven't looked into the gear ratio yet but it runs about 2400 rpm at 60mph.
I was able to go one stage leaner on the carb this weekend with no drivability problems so will see if that changes mileage any.

Looks like a great start for build, and actually less rust than most trucks I have been scouting in Kansas. Good luck with the build.

Don't talk about the rust too loud..........Someone would want it more that you...........or maybe they would put a tax on it.............

RUST

If you buy one without rust, you probably pay alot for it & you wouldn't have anything to do for the next year or so....Zoomy

Looks like a good base to start from, I'm sure you'll end up with a great truck. Rust makes for a great sleeper! BTW you have the same mirrors as my truck, your arms look a little too clean, want to swap them for some matching rusty ones LOL
