Shortening a Drive Shaft Question
Hey Board,
Anybody got tips on measuring to shorten a driveshaft? I'm swapping out a Saginaw 3-speed manual tranny for a 700R4. I think the old yoke is good, b/c both old and new are 27-spline, but how should I measure? from what point on the tranny tail to where on the shaft? Any comment, expert or anecdotal would be appreciated. DTT PS This is the O's year!

Re: Shortening a Drive Shaft Question
if having shop doing it talk to them and see what they require in measurement so you"re both on the same page when the shaft is done
