wall art

I had a bit of leftover paint in the gun after squirting the 72 Sierra Grande So I grabbed an extra dash, scuffed it with scotch brite and gave it a couple of coats of med blue.. assembled it with parts n pieces that were laying around and hung it up..

What do you think?
Hmmmmmm... maybe I should hook up the dash lights, get a new bezel, chrome balls and center vent, new woodgrain stickems then add a tach/vac dash??

Re: wall art

I like it! I've wanted to do one for my shop. It would be cool to rig up some sounds.

That's cool! The Truck Shop also has a dash in their showroom...lights, radio, etc, and they all work

Re: wall art

Guys.. thanks for the compliments and ideas!!..
I think I will go ahead and wire up the radio, AC controls, lighter light and dash lights to the headlight switch (for the dimmer) and the ign switch for off and on..
Maybe even put in my "custom autosound" AM-FM with the 10 disc cd changer..
