Where can I find Dana 44 front axle parts?

I can find wheel bearings and seals locally but I am looking for the spindle shaft seal and the little seal which fits on the spindle bearing.

I also need the front axle U-joints.

Has anyone found a good source for these parts?

Thanks

Any Napa store should have the wheel bearings, the spindle bearing and seals you will probably have to wait on but they have always had them at my local Napa. They should also have the u-jooints in stock

Find a local Spicer dealer. Part number 706527X gets you the three seals and new Torrington bearing for inside the hub. Usually on ebay as well. Fits 90% of Dana 44's in the 70's and early 80's. Spicer dealers will have everything else you need as well.

Thanks, only a few dealers in Jax. I found the last spindle seal. They no longer stock this stuff. Special order only.
It was way cheaper than Napa.

By chance, do you have the part number for the axle shaft ujoints? If you could spare the part numbers for the other items too, that would be great. I'm going to do this to my '73 Dana 44 here very soon. I want to make sure I have everything I need before I tear into it.

I have not completed this job yet.

I ended up taking my axles to my local drive line shop. They only charge $10 to remove and install the u-joints. I ended up buying there U-joints, they were made int he USA and they were greaseable, might not be as strong but I like the fact they are greaseable. Total job was $70 This was money well spent as removing the u-joints is a PITA.

I had to order front hubs since my bearings races just fell into position in one of the hubs, so I bought 2 complete hubs and rotors. NAPA and Carquest has the hubs and rotors as an assembly or individually.

I need to remove the inner seals, clean out the tubes and then replace everything. Looks like another weekend project.

Part No's I have so far my 72.
Axle U-joints; Autozone Gold 1-0297DG, you can find these at other parts houses
Axle shaft interior seals: Timken 5131
Spindle Bearings: National B-2110, appears to better quality than the spicer
Hub Grease Seal: Timken 442380
Dana 44 Axle Spindle Seal Kit: 706527x (includes Spindle bearing above and 2 grease seals and spacer)

Sorry for a little more information than you asked for but maybe it will help someone else.

The spindle kit is also at NAPA. Part number SBK-1 :big inner seal, small inner seal, thrust washer, torrington bearing, slinger.
