I'm in the middle of an engine swap and engine bay refresh. If i get finished I'll be there with my 65. Attached is a picture from the Hotrod Revolution and the partial change over progress. Now I need to get the new engine in and running...

I want to, but too much to do around the house and low on $$ is going to make me miss it this year. I can't believe it has been 10 years since the first one @ the HS football field - remember it like it was yesterday - damn.....I may have to find a way to make it!!!

You live on the north side of S.A. and your complaining, you can be there and back home in no time at all and still get your "around the house" stuff done on Sunday. That is unless you skip work on Friday...

Looking good. I'm trying to put mine together enough to drive it down there.

Re: Lone Star Round Up

Hey Coolair,I figured out a way for you to go. Load up a Sure Fit for my 65 and tell the boss you are on a goodwill mission and need to deliver it to a needy truck at Roundup. Think of the great publicity that would create...or at least give you an excuse and make my truck happy!!!

This event is only open to '63 and earlier rides. What a shame. Guess I won't be registering.

Re: Lone Star Round Up

I'll be there, but in the 62 Tbird. Got back from vacation today and found out the neighbors kids next door had been throwing rocks over the fence. You know where they landed, all over the truck, chunks out of the primer and needs a new windshield now.

In the past they have not kept 64-66 out since they are so similair, send in your registration, the worst that can happen is they is send it back if they don't like your truck..If they let you slide, all is good.

Cool Re: Lone Star Round Up

Dang I'm bummed, Got my new engine in and have be driving it to make sure everything is good for the run to Austin but tonight it developed a dead miss. It was to dark to tell what has gone wrong. Hopefully I can get it sorted out because we are leaving Thursday morning.
