steam!!!!!!
Well I finally got to drive my truck today Only one draw back I am getting steam from my ac vents and alittle inder the hood. Could my heater core be shot ? My ac is not hooked up and there are really no ac parts left ex the vents. I am also loosing alot of coolant. If i replace the heater core do I get one that is for an ac truck even thow there are no ac parts left?

Re: steam!!!!!!
you can loop the heater hose from rad to thge intake so you can use the truck in the meantime till you do the replacement heatercore

Re: steam!!!!!!
Doesn't hurt anything at all. It just re-routes the coolant and prevents it from traveling through the heater core. Some of these trucks were ordered without heaters, so it will be fine.
