Electric Fans
What is a good fan to run that wont cost tons of money? Aslo is it better to get it hooked in to swithes or have it on a thermastat.
My motor is a 355 pushing out around 400 horsepower with a stock radiator.

Re: Electric Fans
A Mark VIII is the best off a used vehicle. Find a dual speed fan. Next are Jeep and LS dual fans. I run a set of dual LS fans.

Re: Electric Fans
I have the LS dual fans in my Cutlass, they work great (cools the mildly built 455 easily). I have a single 17" fan from jegs on my 76 and it gets the job done for a stock motor but I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than stock. And personally I prefer the fans to be on a thermostat just because when they are on a switch there is always that chance that i'll forget to turn them on.
