Price Guide?

Is there any sort of price guide out there for 67 -72 pickups? My 17 yr old son ran across a 72 short bed (350, 4spd on the floor, trim package). It definitely needs the front passenger quarter panel replaced and the door skin on the same side. One of the rockers needs to be replaced. The rest of it seems to have some surface rust from place to place but is straight. The guy want's $2500. I really don't know if this is too much or not. The truck has 110,000 miles and they installed a new goodwrench engine about 40,000 miles ago. Your thoughts?

Thanks

That seems a little high for part of the country. In the rust belt that might be a really smoking deal but in your area you should be able to do better. Is it mechanically perfect? How about the interior. If you could post some pictures we might be able to help you a little more. What other options does the truck have on it? Air, posi? Fleetside or stepside?

price?

That price doesn't seem out of line, if it runs/drives good, and cab mounts and trailing arm are in decent shape. You can always make an offer, cash talks!

I generally pickup Old Cars Price Guide, since we have to go by that to title a car anymore in washington.

You could also check with hemmings.....
