The guessing game

Lets play guess that price . Look at the link below and give it your best guess. Please do not post any negative comments because these are going to go big and the seller may read this site. I will start out with a guess of $684.24 .I will also add that I would love to have a set of those to sell and you have to admire the seller for a true "No Reserve" auction. Lets see who gets the closest.

You are probably pretty close . I was going to put down $724.24 but changed my mind . I see we were close but I am too indecisive.

Re: The guessing game

I say about 5 bills. It really is sad these NOS parts are going so expensive lately, at least from a buyers standpoint.

Exactly why I said to keep any negative comments in check . I understand the free market but I do remember some of these post getting a few comments. Like I stated , I like the fact that the seller is running a real No resreve auction so it will show exactly what the market will bear this week.

Re: The guessing game

When new they went for $126.10 and $116.17, but of course they are long since discontinued. Sadly, with that in mind, they bring whatever the buyer is willing to pay for. Watching some of these lately, there is no doubt in my mind it will be well over $500 for the pair of them, not including shipping.

They are getting rare to find, they are somewhat in demand... it just adds up that they will be worth some jack.

Re: The guessing game

The funny thing to me is I couldn't hardly give away my NOS fenders a few years ago when I had to scrap my '77 Blazer project. Now they are worth a house payment.

I really hope he comes out well. On one hand, it sucks that prices are going skyward on NOS parts for our trucks, but on the other hand hopefully there will be some killer restorations coming, and maybe we will all get to enjoy seeing them.
