rocker problems

i am attempting to put a rocker panel on my drivers side, i already put the cab corner on, but the thing don't seem to line up right, it needs to go about 1/4 inch forward, and there is a gap at the bottom back that looks stupid, and there is also a gap at the front bottom corner of the door, so therefore there is a gap at the fender, i might be able to get pics here in a little bit, but my question is, is it just because of the cheap after market quality and is there anything i can do to fix it?any and all help appreciated.
thanks
kevin

Did you brace your door opening before you replaced the cab corner and removed the old rocker? If not, the door opening may be out of whack. Have you done the passenger side yet? If not, you may want to take measurements of that door opening and compare it to the side you are having problems with. I had a problem with the back edge of my repro rockers. They had a slight curve to it, as opposed to being straight. I had to cut a slice in it, bend it straight and weld it. Pain in the ass, but they turned out pretty good.

If your having problems with your rocker...try kicking the cat out of the room, it's easier on the ears and saves wear and tear on your cats tail....

I agree with Slammed67. Use you passenger door for measurements. If you havent welded it in place remove it. I believe your problem is in the cab corner. I had replaced almost everything on that side, but because I had taken measurements, I came out 1/16 of an inch off. I also put my doors back on to make sure the height was the same. Then removed them to finish the inside. Because you used after market parts and yes they are never the same, it just takes more time to get em right. My rocker panels are only tacked on until I am ready to put my doors in for good.
