Weatherstripping question

Has anyone checked to see if the weather stripping off a newer style truck 88 - up will fit? I noticed that the weatherstripping used on those trucks is not glued on but kind of pressed in place. I think it could fit.

Give it a try can't hurt anything, you just might have a major brake through here, and my door weather strip on my 71 was glued, but just in random spots
