hanger rivets

Whats the best way to get hanger rivets out?

(i don't have torches) but got pretty much every other tool.

i used my grinder with a cut off wheel just cut an x in the head of the rivet then knock the rest out with a chisel

I used a dremel wi th a cut off wheel and gouged ravines into the rivets then a hammer and chisel... i found that with my cheap compressor we didnt get enough air power to blast em off that way

Alright thanks guys these are alot of great ideas! i got a grinder and air hammer so looks like thats the route for me my driver side hanger is pretty close to the gas tank. Do i need to remove it? or would covering it with a welding blanket be ok?

i didnt end up droping the tank just air chisel worked like butter.

I recently did this and I started out with drilling the rivets about half way and then hit it with the grinder and it worked pretty good but I quickly realized its faster to just grind the heads off.
