Here is McKewl

Well I been on here for awhile now. Mainly been given comments on other build threads. Now its time to start my own thread on my 66 truck.

1. Ordered one of Nates drop members. On the way
2. Got a 5 lug rearend out of a 71 2wd blazer and also
got the rear bumper off the same truck.
3. got the front brakes off a 85 c10 included djm 2.5 drop
spindles
4. got a set of 15x7 chrome supremes with thin wws
5. got a mc out a 84 c10
6. I did find an og steerin wheel. that i think i can get my brother
to restore to go in it.

Re: Here is McKewl

great looking truck; it looks really solid....should be a great foundation for a sweet ride...good luck; can't wait to see how it turns out!...in November i put a 3.08 rear from a '72 under my '66...oh, and not that you care but that steering wheel is from an earlier model i think...this should be correct for '66:

Greg let me know either way on the moldin... likearoc thanks for the info bout the steering wheel. I found the one i have from a buddy of mine. I kinda remember he sayin that it may have came out of a 62 or 63. but it fits in there and it pretty good shape..

Re: Here is McKewl

I found a right and a left. You can have them if it will help you out. Both of them could use polishing.
