Billet Grilles!!

So I'm having a heck of a time getting a stock replacement grille for my 1982 GMC... I think they are made in Indonesia or something and there is no expected date for them to come into stock. This got me wondering what a billet grille would look like versus the stock plastic grille. I have found many places that stock the grille, but I cannot find an accurate picture of what they look like once installed. Are the GMC and Chev billet grilles the same for these years, or are there differences? If yall could post pictures of your trucks with billet grilles, and what make/supplier you got it from, it would be much appreciated!!

Thanks!

Re: Billet Grilles!!

Cool! I've seen billet grilles that cover over the headlights as well, but the look you have is my preference! Where did you get your T-Rex from?

The ones that cover the lights are known as phantom grilles.

Re: Billet Grilles!!

So a Billet Grille is actually a different part as compared to a Phantom Grille? That makes things way easier!!

I know this is a old thread but Prostreet where did you get these rims? I like how they have a jellybean feel to them. Anyone else know what they are called and where to buy?
