Save it or at the very least someone get the wiring harness out of it and send it to me.

Re: save from the scrapper before Friday?
Someone needs to win the lottery, and set up a home for retired trucks. Pinch me if I'm just dreaming.

Re: save from the scrapper before Friday?
wow scrap dealer offered $200. I want to go to that scrapper. I bought a parts 65 for 300 years ago and the local scrapper told me when I was done pull the tires and the tank and they'd give me $20 for it.

Re: save from the scrapper before Friday?
Old trucks like that are pretty cool. Even if you ended up putting some other old engine in there (or better, getting that one back in shape), brakes, tires, coolant, hoses, and exhaust, getting it back on the road would at least be doable. You'd be pretty popular if you showed up in a truck as original and weathered as that one.
It wouldn't be for me, because I don't have a place for it and my wife wouldn't understand, but for someone, there has to be some possibilities there. |
