Door jam measurements?
The 67 GMC Longstep I purchased had received a 95% off the frame restoratin by the previous owner. BUT
The doors are not aligned correctly, the body shop guy I know has indicated the rocker panels (which had been replaced) may need to be adjusted (cut and moved?) in order to correct the situation. My question is how can I measure the door opening to determine if this is correct? Any thoughts, btdt? Thanks Chris 1967 |

One way to do it is to measure your doors, add the clearance and that will give you a close number for the door opening. Be sure to measure the door and the opening at the same position.
