CCT's '67-72 C10 Spotter's Guide just hit the newsstands, I think.

I know CCT subscribers are starting to get their copy with the C10 Spotter's Guide in it. Reggie Jackson's '68 is on the cover up in the skyblurb. Anyways I'll see about getting the story up on CCT's website in a couple of weeks. Thanks again you guys my deadline was right in my face, and you all really came through. Especially Jim Aust. Has anyone heard from Circus Wagon Jim lately?

Right now I'm working on a story about the '00 S-10 I bought brand-new for the July issue of Street Trucks... That means I better get back out in the garage.

Thanks again!

Rene, quick roll down your window, I think you're suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning!

You must have followed the muffler tech I did a few years back in Tailgate... there was some mistakes about where to run the tailpipe.

John, there's a post on here where a guy is looking for a cap for the truck rallye wheel. I tossed the pic of the one you had on your Americruise truck. I know you said that GM wouldn't allow it because of the logo, but has anyone created the toilet bowl you said it needed to mount a different cap?

The wheels on the Americruise truck were made by Rally America in Fresno.

The thing they custom-welded on my wheels is called a toilet seat. The toilet seat is a part of a '33-4 Ford wire wheel. I'd go ahead and give them a call. Who knows maybe they have some of those '33 Ford caps with Bowties on them in old stock.

I love those wheels they're going on my '75 with a 454 next. There's a picture of the '75 coming up in the July issue of Classic Trucks.

Man, I'm sorry it's that cheap paper CCT uses. Wait until you can go on CCT's website and magnify the picture... It's there along with some popcorn I dropped on accident when I was taking the picture. Here's another behind the scenes leg-wetting fact. We dropped the wingnut down into the cab corner, and had to go find a magnet.

That's because you're in California, around here if you drop something in the cab corner it just falls out on the ground, it's real convenient.

I was on a 9 week trip for SO-CAL Speed Shop- just got back. Upside, I FINALLY found a full-time job in Texas. Downside- Going to have to sell some of my collected truck parts to get there. Oh well, PLENTY of trucks and parts in Texas!
