$699 For the 62-72 version...so I imagine that it would be similar for ours. Seems high to me.

If you get a brand new bezel all new gauges (your choice of electric or mech) and your choice of gauge locations, then the price is not bad. What do they supply for a wire harness? Do they supply a plug that plugs into the factory plug, or do they give instructions for hacking it all up

Guages will run you around $450-480, a new bezel may run you about $150, that right there is $630. Now you need to wire it. The price of $699 would not be bad, but if there is nothing wrong with your bezel, why pay for a new one? There is a few guys on here that have converted to different gauges. I know myself and swervin would be more then willing to help with pictures or descriptions for anyone doing the conversion. Its very easy and doesnt take too long.
CHaingKaiShek also did a conversion, he didnt use autometer, but the gauges (VDO) are nice and have a good stock type look to them. Check out this recent thread:

Good point, whats the deal with that? It really makes me wonder if they are making a custom bezel for the gauges or if they are just using stock gauge bezels. If they are using stock, then why not offer those too?
EDIT:
I was reading a few of the descriptions and they do exclude some items, which could get pricy fast, like electric speedo sending unit. Also remember no matter how complete the kit is, there is probly something missing, expect to have a few bucks laying around for misc. pieces you looked over.

I gotta agree. I like Mike's setup because it looks more stock and as tall as I am I need the gauges shown upward rather than straight out.
