#1 pic looks like either Mnt. Shasta or Lassen in Nor Cal
#6 is San Luis Obispo, California. In the picture you are looking towards Madonna Mnt. (see the M in background) near downtown. You can also see the top of the sign for the movie theatre which I went to as a kid before it closed. You can also see part of the Mision roof as well. Oh, and I was born there.

There was a similar thread around with the YENKO Chevrolet building as it is today. I also love photo's like these, I usually end up studying the people in them and think how lucky they were to part of that erea, and wish I were them.

Not a truck, but cool.....Working on bomber landing gear in the 1940's

Heres a couple for you eightbanger and Malibu Monte I would be your huckleberry on that raid LOL Could you see our youth doing what those boys did back in WWII the avergage age of a bombing crew was 20 and they did that for 19-24 hours in -30 cold? That is # 5 on my buckett list, to ride in a
B17 or B24 heavy bomber.
