Which wheels?????

So I have three sets of wheels for my truck slotted mags, Ultra brand centerlines, and a set of original wheels in pretty rough shape. I think that they are all cool in their own way. I just can't decide which ones to run though. All the sets need work to look nice. I have a complete set of lug nuts for the center line set, and I'm still searching for lug nuts for the mags. With the local swap meet coming up in a couple months I'm trying to decide which sets I'm going to let go. I'd like to hear what you have to say and if you have pix of your truck with mags or centerlines post 'em up for me would ya.

One thing the mags have going is that I can put the tires I have now on them once I find lug nuts.

Centerlines are 16x8
Mags are 15x8.5

I'll take some pictures of the wheels later.

Re: Which wheels?????

Can I trim anything on the brakes or wheels to help the mags fit a little better? Right now they are rubbing on the caliper mount a little. These are going on my '71 4x4. Thanks for the pix BTW.

I think slots look awesome on 4wds. They were the only way to go on K/20s if you wanted a custom look.

Here they are on the K/10 I had when I lived in AZ:

On a member's K/10 Suburban:

And,on another member's K/20s showing just how "right" they look:

Slots are defiantly cool but I would restore and keep the steels your taste might change in time or you might acquire an other project.

I've got 15X7 slots in front on my '72. I had to grind on the front brake calipers to get them to clear.

Thanks Gary. I was thinking about doing that but didn't know if it would be ok.

Re: Which wheels?????

I would have to say slots as well, but I'd like to see what the other two options look like. Some of the Ultras are pretty nice, and the steelies are never a bad choice either.

I'll bet you'll hate me for saying this..........I basically got them for free. I traded parts that I got for free and didn't need anymore for them. We both won on that trade.

Just keep your eyes peeled at swap meets and Craigslist.

I've never paid more than 100$ for a full set yet

I'm sure these guys have a set for you but $$$$$$
