rear airbag mounting ?
72 blazer. 2wd. i have seen guys mount the bag to the trailing arm with one 3/8 bolt. Can you do the same with the top of bag or do you recommend using two bolts?

Re: rear airbag mounting ?
Some bags mount w/single bolts top & bottom. Other utilize 2 bolts on top & the single bottom. Either will work.

Re: rear airbag mounting ?
is there no danger of bag ripping out with just one bolt on top and bottom?

Re: rear airbag mounting ?
That is how the bags were designed to be mounted. Your suspension travel will be limited by the shocks so you should not have a concern with over extending the bags.

Re: rear airbag mounting ?
I suspended my '60 Caddy rear end with 2 d2600's last week just as I was setting up the air lines. they did not rip and they have one bolt in the bolt and two in the top.
those airbags are tough cookies. hanging 3-400 lbs off of a pair isn't a biggie at all..... BUT, don't make it a habit....especially without any air in them.
