engine share

Engine is coming together pretty good. Finally stopped running into problems. SHould be ready to drop in tomorrow but I'm still waiting for my transmission to show up. Hopefully by Tuesday I'll be running. Thank you everyone who has helped me with this project!

Re: engine share

If it runs half as good as it's looking to me right now, it'll be so nice, and well worth all the frustration and cash I've put into it the past couple weeks. Find out on Tuesday I hope.

Re: engine share

Yep, went down to the tranny shop that replaced it originally and while they refused to admit that they did anything wrong, they did give me the correct flexplate and agree to replace my transmission that got all cracked up from the vibration. Just waiting no that to show up and I'm ready to rock and roll. I'm so jacked about driving my truck again, I miss it.

Looks good! Good to hear the tranny shop made it right anyway, even though it was a complete pita for you.

Re: engine share

Yeah it was. Of course I wish it never happened... it ran okay and drove well enough before that I wouldn't have bothered with all this. Then again, maybe it's a good thing since it DID have 4 burnt exhaust valves and a broken ring so it ought to be night and day now.
