OK, i have been saving and gathering parts for my 71 highlander suburban and can not get the right fabric. so that said, this stuff is for sale or trade for black stuff. the wheel is a new repop dyed by gary terry (the cheyenne man in tx.) with an nos horn button. i have looked for years to find one this color. $275 shipped or a perfect oe black wheel. next is the truck column restored by jason at the truck shop in crossville, tn. top notch work! $400 shipped or trade for a black restored. and last is the oe dash pad. used and unrestored. its a 9.5 out of a 10. $125 shipped or a black one.

have you tried sms fabrics for the highlander fabric? I had a blue sample sent to me years ago and it was spot on.

and it may be a typo but Highlanders were 72 model. May be why you can't find the right fabric.??

thanks. yes, bought and paid for in november. still no fabric. sent the wrong stuff twice. it takes an act of god to talk to doug the owner. i could not get by the lady that answers the phone for the first three months. i give up. found different fabric and going a different direction.

Just an FYI:
If you wanted blue paid,the last I heard they only had enough for one seat left. That was a couple years ago when my friend who bought my Highlander ordered his fabric. I'm sure they are out,unless by some chance they found another stash somewhere.

Hey Glen,... we have a problem.
I got all the parts today.
Everything was damaged by UPS.
I'm more sick over the dash pad than the tilt,... because I really needed that part in the correct color.
I'm posting pics so you can see what I have.
When first I saw the boxes,... I knew.
That's why I took pics.

I think I'm starting to get sick too! I also sent a tilt column out look Calf. and it looked just like yours does when it arrived. Those UPS drivers just don't give a damn!

I'm still looking for a mint condition sandlewood dash pad,... if there is another one out there.
My plan was to dye a new one the correct color, until I found this one that was perfect,... before UPS got ahold of it.

He's gone "above and beyond" helping me get this resolved.
I think Glen was just as sick as I was.

These old parts are getting harder and harder to find.
I considered the dash pad a "one of a kind" item.
