body bushing bolt welded to the floor
I would like to replace my body bushings but I don't want to lift off the cab. Below is the driver's side bolt from inside the cab, it has a huge weld bead compared to the small tack weld on the passenger side. How hard will this be to cut and remove?
Any other tips? Thanks... |

Mine are like that too...
I've got a few almost used up cutoff wheels lying around waiting for that job. |

Re: body bushing bolt welded to the floor
The bolts are recessed so it would have to be a small cutoff wheel to keep from damaging the floor.

Re: body bushing bolt welded to the floor
Just cut it, if you damage the bed floor a little you can always put a washer under the bolt head to cover.
