Stolen car out of Georgia

Reposting this for a friend on a different message board.

Mods - if this isn't in the right place, please forgive my ignorance and move

In this photo:
~is thinking a lot less of the human race today.
I awoke this morning to find my 68 Beetle was stolen during the night. I have owned this car for over 20 years, and completely rebuilt it after the original purchase. I have added many personnal touches to this car, with airbrushed details on the exterior, interior and even the engine too. The rear window has a very involved etching done in the glass, with a semi circle of bugs, and a Mr. Bubblehead in the middle. The car is black and red, with an original, all metal luggage rack on the roof. The fenders are all fiberglass- fronts are flared, and the rears are widened. All 4 in (thin) black primer with hints of yellow or grey peeking out.
Please, keep an eye out for her, and any of her parts. If anything turns up, call me at 404- 906- 7742, and the Hiram police dept. at 770-445- 2117.

This is current paint scheme, ALL black fenders.

And it you can't miss this!

Re: Stolen car out of Georgia

That sucks. I'm gonna move this thread over to GD, maybe you'll get a little more appropriate traffic over there. I hope they find his car.

Re: Stolen car out of Georgia

This is a friend of my brother in law. After hearing of the theft all of the local vw guy decided to build him another car. Tim donated the body while other donated whatever parts they could spare. It was really cool to see how close these guys are. I spent better part of last night working with these guys try to get it ready for today. It was a very rewarding night for me. Today at a VW show in Atlanta Don was presented with his new Beetle. Nothing compares to good friends.
