Will 66 Column Fit 68?

I have been looking for a good 3-spd manual - 3OTT steering column for my 68 C-10. I found a really nice 3OTT column from a 66 C-10, will this column swap over into my 68? Thanks for any info!

The 60-66 columns are longer than the 67/68s. WES

The 66 column has the long shaft, however you can cut it and use DD swivels like they have on aftermarket columns

Re: Will 66 Column Fit 68?

Cool! I needed to know that it was possible before buying something I couldn't use. I have a worn out 67-72 column and want to get this good 66 column for cheap. Since neither will be in the truck I can make the 66 look like 67-72 and all should be right with the world. Thanks for the info!
