Carpet

I am replacing the carpet on my swb 87 with new black carpet. Any ideas or experience with buying the capet kit on the internet and if so which sites? I have seen a couple differnet sites and they all look about the same? any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Re: Carpet

I bought some from ACC 2 or 3 years ago and I love it. It's lasted better than the carpet in my focus which was OEM. I also got matching floor mats made from the same carpt and they've held up REALLY well.

If I buy carpet for anything, I'm getting ACC

Re: Carpet

stockinteriors.com sells ACC carpet...ACC carpet is one of the best if not the best on the market...and as far as I know stockinteriors.com has the lowest prices online...their prices are just over my cost on ACC carpet...

Re: Carpet

I ordered mine from www.stockinteriors.com, also in black, for my '83. It was a bit of a PITA to install but it was also my first time installing carpet. I have way too little patience. There was a little trimming to do, but hey, better too much than not enough! It definitely looks great now that its done though.

EDIT: wow, you guys just beat me to it! glad to see I got the good stuff.

Re: Carpet

I got ACC. In my firebird the red is turning orangish on the spots exposed to sun. So far the tan in my truck is ok.

Yeah. now i remember stock interiors was where I got mine.

It came out good and it actually fit the floor pan correctly.

Re: Carpet

When I shopped last year this place was a little cheaper than stock interiors on ACC carpets. http://www.varkmotors.com/
I actually bought 2 sets from them one for another vehicle. I also highly recommend getting the mass backing on the carpet as well.
