Re: How about a show us you truck dropped thread?

nice! I cant make up my mind between 2 1/2 or 3 inch drop spindles. I am going with 18's on the front and 20's on the back. I dont plan on cutting the coils but if I need to i may. I just hope that is enough drop to fill the wheel well. I am gonna drop the rear 4 inches with shackles and relocaters as well. I dont wanna drop it crazy low, just enough to where you can tell its dropped you know?

6/8 drop
Excuse the fuzzy memory, it's been about 15 years since I lowered it, but I'm pretty sure the math is 4" spindle (hard to come by these days from what I've heard) + 2" drop coil front, flip kit + 2" shackles in the back.

Re: How about a show us you truck dropped thread?

3/5. Djm shorter springs up front and flip kit on the back. No C notch. Looking at options to drop it another inch to 4/6. I know i'll need the c notch then but can someone tell me what i'll need to get it down? I don't want to cut the springs. The PO did it that way and it rode like a log truck.

Re: How about a show us you truck dropped thread?

When i bought it

removed 20 leafs A SIDE from the rear

Now lowered with 3inch beltech spindals cut one coil from stock springs and a 4 inch shackle and hanger set out back made by western. my rear leaf packs are not stock and i will be getting stock ones to bring the rear down more 2 inch or so.

You need a set of spindles in the front. They come in different lengths. I just put western chassis 2.5" spindles on mine.
