Uncledudes ole truck

Hello everyone. My name is Dave, and I live in Gilbertsville Kentucky. I have a 1985 Chevy Silverado Long bed that I am restoring. I found a four bolt main 350 block and replaced the 305, but . I have an RV cam in it with a brand new Quadrajut and headers and a dual exaust. I had the 305 heads reworked and I am using them. Of course it has a dual roller timing gear, and a six blade flex fan in place of the clutch fan.
I'd sure appreciate any advice or guidance that enyone would be willing to share. I like dealing with folks who know more than I do because I learn from them.

Welcome!! Nice project. Ditch the flex fan. The cheap ones explode. Put a stock one back on.

Welcome to the truck board Dave. When you get a chanch place some pictures on here. I agree on the flex fan. I had one and it broke on me back in the 80's. Not sure how offten this happens but not worth it. Again welcome to the board from Mayfield. You will find a lot of help here.
