Re: My first set of Dodge Buckets.

Hmmm. What year/model are those from? They look different from the Dodge seats I've seen before.

Re: My first set of Dodge Buckets.

Don't use those in a Chevy!! The Dodge funk is contageous. first sign is your starter will sound like it's laughing at you..."Hee hee hee hee hee hee". Next, parts will start failing and you'll hit dead ends trying to find replacements. If you go to the dealer they will look at you funny for asking for a part over 5 years old. If you can persuade them to look it up and order it,and it's actually available,it will probably be the wrong part. At least that was my experience with a '69 Dodge back in '77. That was my first and last. Went runnin' back to GM as fast as I could.

I don't have the slightest clue.

Re: My first set of Dodge Buckets.

Hate on the Dodge stuff all you want, but those are so much better looking than the 67-68 buddy buckets. Yes, I actually said it. Sacrilege I know, but thats my biased opinion.

You may be used to the high end seats, with leather, heating pads and the console that can hold a laptop, clipboard, and most of a mobile office. The work trucks, which could actually use that center most, got a plain folding center like that and of course there were many other choices up and down the trim lines.

I don't think they look bad at all either. The seats bolt right up to a Chevy frame. The center consoles are identical. With a little modification to your floor, the Dodge frame also works in our trucks.
