Where to find replacement backing plates?

I have had no luck finding replacement backing plates for the rear axle on my project. It is a 82 heavy half with a 6.2 and a 700R4, 2 wheel drive, rear drums.
The backing plates are gone with cancer. They are usable, but I would like to replace anything ugly while I am working on it. I have done a lot of searching, but no luck anywhere.

Any ideas?

Re: Where to find replacement backing plates?

Your best bet is to just find a good pair in a junkyard. Shouldnt be too hard to find 10 bolt backing plates. You have a huge range of years to pick from.
