Newbie from AZ
I guess it's time to introduce my self! Names Kevin from Prescott AZ. I'm the happy owner of a 71 C10 long bed. It has a (for the time being) vortec headed 350 with crower beast cam .462 int .470 ex, 65k HEI, edelbrock 600, and intrepid fans backed by a th400. Soon to receive a 400/700R4, 400 build still in the planning stages. I'll post pics once I figure out how to.

Re: Newbie from AZ
Welcome to the board; it is an awesome place to learn/read/share info on these great trucks! I am jealous of where you are from. I used to spend the summers as a child in Prescott with my Grandpa and I love it there. I haven't been back in more than 20 years. They say there is a park there named after my Grandpa, but I havn't even seen it yet. I will have to make the trip someday. Welcome again!

Thanks for the welcome. I should have been more clear on the pics, I need to figure out which of the trillion files they are in.

That would be awesome! I think it is called "Stricklin Forest Park", I have a newspaper article from when it was dedicated and it says it is at/near the Butte Creek Trail. My Grandpa was Howard B. Stricklin who was a great guy who fought to protect Prescott's natural resources and beauty when he retired there after a career in the National Park Service.
