Well my head lights wont turn on. I have power to my tail lights side markers ext. O and my dash lights just went out. I have looked at all the fuses and they are all fine. Any body had this problem before?

Dome light sounds like a ground problem.

As for the headlights, check the dimmer switch on the floor. It isn't uncommon for the connector to corrode or the switch to go out.

Re: head light problem

Yep... had the same problem in a '67 C10. Changed the dimmer switch and all was good.

Re: head light problem

The dome light will have constant power. It is the ground wire that is switched.
PS. I would check the switch on the dash.

X2 had the same problem but it was just my brights that wouldn't work.

Re: head light problem

well yall where right , the dimmer switch was bad I now have head lights and a dome light to!!!!!! but still no dash lights they come and if you turn the knob on the dash all the way the dome light comes on. But the dash lights barley come on and I have to have the knob turned just right. This is the last little thing that is stopping me from driving the truck daily.

Re: head light problem

Just a guess, but if the lights are picky depending on the switch rotation, it could be the switch is bad (rheostat portion). You also might try jumping a ground wire from the cluster to the chassis to eliminate a possible ground problem.
