Both of my Gen III powered machines in the stable together.

I had both my trucks in the garage today, figured I would take some pics for you guys. The C-10 is a 70 CST-10 with a 6.0/4L80E swap in progress. The red Silverado is a 99 Ext cab with a 5.3, 2/4 drop and 22" wheels. The silverado is my daily, and I am slowly working on the C-10. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks guys. Just wish I had more money so I could get the yellow one on the road and enjoy driving it instead of just looking at it in the garage. LOL

Re: Both of my Gen III powered machines in the stable together.

Nice!! I have a similar pairing, but mine are reversed! The very nice transport delivery guy (Stan) came to visit bright and early Friday morning (about 5:00 a.m.)! He brought the white and copper two-tone! It's a 5.3/4L60E and the truck to the left is my '09 6.0 auto.

A little additional information would make sense...as you can see from my signature block, I've been without a '67-72 for a while. Found this truck in Arkansas and it was delivered Friday morning (04/01/11). I've already changed the wheels/tires and I need to get it cleaned up. Some pictures in my own thread will show up soon...don't mean to hijack!!

For the first time in forever, not a single 67-72 Chevy truck, Blazer, or Suburban on the property! Basically retired and getting the new Motorhome ready for some traveling. Doing a bit of work on the house getting it ready to sell! LOL!!

I guess we just like our chevy trucks weather they are new or old. Nice looking pair you've got too.

I feel your pain...maybe someday they'll do more than just take up room in the garage, but for now they look good...right?!

Thats right. Someday we'll have our fun in the sun too. At least today I got to roast my old Nitto rollers up and down the driveway one last time before I put her in garage jail for the next year. hopefully not more. Good luck with youre swap.
