70 Chevy C20 work in progress

I bought this truck last year and have been slowly making progress. Things I plan to do this spring include but aren't limited to:

1. Drum to Disc brake conversion - I have some spindles, rotors and calipers from a 77 I'm going to use.

2. Steering column replacement with column shift linkage - I have a 77 steering column that I want to use but am unsure of how well it will work. Any suggestions?

3. Fix the massive hole in the floor.

4. Fix the Electrical nightmare

5. Body work and paint. I'm thinking about doing a flat black but almost anything is better than pumpkin orange.

I don't really like the extremely lopey cam that is in the engine I think it is a comp cam 270H and the intake is a Edelbrock Victor and has seen better days. The shift points seem off in the TH350 and I don't like the high rpm at highway speeds. I would like to look into a 700R4 but I've heard bad reviews. I'll post more pics as this project evolves.
