Re: looking for wood bed floor instal pics

I installed the wood and cross members before bolting the bed to the frame. The bed to frame bolts, go through the wood on the original installation.

Thanks sbc.

so when you added the wood you took out the frame mount bolts & then reinstalled them thru the wood floor?

Mar-k sells bed assembly instructions for a wood bed and for a steel to wood bed conversion. $10.00 each. I would hope they don't slap a handling charge on that.

If you buy a bolt kit from them it qualifies as 'restoration supplies' and they will send one for free if you ask. I have one for a short bed stepside so it probably won't work on your application.

Mar-K hooked me up with all my bed stuff. They are top notch!

I looked in my stack of catalogs. I must've trashed the instructions cause I can't find them.

Sorry,

Re: looking for wood bed floor instal pics

The instructions for converting from steel floor to wood floor are on-line in our installation instruction pages, http://www.mar-k.com/installation_hints.html . Just scroll down to the "Bed Installation" section and select the instruction for steel to wood conversion.
