81-up grille in a 80 & older truck
I know it is easy to swap a 81-up front clip onto a 80 & older truck. I would like to know if a 81-up grille can be installed on a 80 & older front clip? I think this might be more of a custom look instead of just making an old truck look newer. If anyone has done this wahat is involved? If it wont work, why? Any opinions of the finished look? Thanks!

It's either an all or none type thing. In order to use a newer grille, you will have to use a newer core support and related parts. In other words, the 81 up grille won't fit on a 80 back truck, without changing the rest of the stuff.
