Not true, I have a original 73/74 grill with a 292 emblem

I am pretty sure there were 400 badges too for other years.

Would a picture of the 292 emblem make you a believer?

I've definitely seen 400 badges. Never a 292 though. I'd like to see it!

according to the parts book (and memory) grill badges were for 292, 350, 454 (73-74)
and 292, 350, 400, 454 (75-76) GMC has a different part number than a Chevy. these are all in group 1.303 for those of you that have parts books.
