SPOUT WIRE , where is it on my 1987 454 truck?

i have heard under carpet pass. side, i didnt see it
I was told brown wire on firewall, my truck has all the California emissions... there are a ton of wires... anybody got a pic of it under there hood
thanx, reply asap please.... my truck is not running until i find it

It should be in the main bundle, almost right behind the distributor. It is a single wire with a weatherpack connector. All you may see is the weatherpack, and it may be in the main bundle. The connector is big enough that you should be able to feel of it in the corrugated sheathing, if that's where it is. Think of a snake that just ate.

i will check it out, the weather pack you spoke of, is that where all the positive wires come together on those two screws? or the two bundles that are clipped on the firewall,

i would give my kingdom for a picture, lol

the pics i find online dont look anything like the stuff i am seeing under my hood
