Trim Paint

Quick question for you guys. What would be the preferred method to touch-up the faded black portion of the upper chrome trim running the length of my truck? My mom, who is a very good painter with a steady hand and very detail-oriented, took a look at it tonight and said she can paint it with small brushes no problem. I trust her but just wondered what the rest of you have done. Has anybody masked it off and spray painted it?

You can see how it has a few faded spots in the following photo:

Thanks,

Mark

Re: Trim Paint

I masked mine and satin blacked it. Really made it POP. I alsoneverdulled the chrome parts. A little elbow grease went a long way. I tried hand paint and wasn't as happy with the results. Just my opinion.

Re: Trim Paint

I like "Trim Black" by SEM. It is self etching, looks and holds up great.
