need help fast - storm coming and I am working outside
Can I take the upper and lower ball joints off without the spring expanding? I am doing both plus the outer ti rod ends, what order should I go, thanks!!!!

yep you can fill in the4 details
jack stand uinder truck floor jack under A arm pull wheel loosen both upper and lower B nuts BFH on the outside of the sindle to pop ball joints loose remove B nuts remove shock bolt lower jack slowly until spring is unloaded remove ball joints ( your going to need a press availble @ parts stores to borrow) new ball joints B Nuts back on grease then do tie rod Last edited by Hottrucks; 04-13-2011 at 01:16 PM. |
