Here are some links to various Gas Tank Relocation Threads.....
49-52 Chevy Passenger Car Tank, How To Thread

73-87 Blazer Tank, How To Thread

Camaro First Generation Tank, How To Thread

Thread with pictures of various tanks including CPP aluminum & Ford Falcon Tanks

Filler Neck Options
Be sure to study the finished installation photos. Some of these tanks, such as the Blazer - CPP - Camaro tanks, are visible hanging down under the truck. This is especially true if you will be running a rear roll pan and not a bumper. Some people don't like this look, some don't care.

Re: Rear mount gas tank?

I'm running a 69 camaro gas tank and love it. Also you can get a different sender in the tank so you can switch over to fuel injection without cutting holes in the gas tank.

Re: Rear mount gas tank?

There was someone on here running the tank from an early Isuzu Trooper, I was considering doing this as I had an old trooper with a nearly new tank sitting rusting in the back garden but in the end I sold it whole as the wife was getting a little unhappy having it as a lawn ornament.
