pics of white trucks/saddle interior?

I think this combo would look pretty sharp so I wanted to see if anybody had any pics or opinions on this. Thanks!

Re: pics of white trucks/saddle interior?

I will be changing my white truck from blue to saddle as soon as I get a chance. Right now I'm driving it every day and want to do it all at once. I like the blue better with white but eventually the truck with be something in the gold to brown spectrum. I don't want to wait till after it's painted because the blue seat is droopin' and that crack in the steering wheel at high noon drives me crazy, especially w/o tilt. I have a pretty saddle tilt column, firm saddle seat, and nice Olds 4 spoke sport wheel along with everything else.

That sounds like it will look pretty good, Tim - my wood bed turned out to look almost exactly the same shade of "brown" as a saddle interior. I never had thought about changing it until after I saw it for the first time. The blue really stands out now. ( I bought most of the blue interior pieces long before I had it restored ) I can probably sell some of the "blue" stuff on this website ( for half of what I paid for it ) I'm probably going to drive it a while next spring and see if I can get used to it !!!

But I'd STILL like to see somemore WHITE - SADDLE pictures.

There was a white-saddle 71 or 72 for sale a year or more ago that I had saved many pictures of - then my old computer CRASHED and I lost them all - I'm hoping that someone will post those pictures again.

Re: pics of white trucks/saddle interior?

Steve, Well now if you had just painted that wood like stock you wouldn't have this problem. :-) The white with blue to me looks great and I don't think wood affects the interior color. Here are a few pictures showing some of the colors mentioned through the thread. My two cents though is that white with sadddle may end up 80ish bland and white with parchment is an acquired taste, it always looks dirty against the white paint. But I really like white with parchment and my Camaro SS is blue with white leather.

Thanks for your input, Tim - I guess I'll just have to drive it around for a while to see how I like it.

Re: pics of white trucks/saddle interior?

I swapped interiors years ago but guess I never showed pictures. Only one sample was ever shown. I'd think there would be more of this combo. The one I think is rare with White is Olive. I have seen very very few, like 2 or 3 in all these years. Anyway, I have this picture. The white paint is real skanky with "patina". Can't wait till the day this truck looks as good as it runs.

White with olive is a great combo for sure. Actually see it once in a while. Even a couple of Cheyenne Super motorhomes.
