New truck
I have oil on my starter, and all over the oil pan in front of the rear main. The rear main does not seam to be leaking. The drivers side valve cover is leaking, but the passenger side is not. Could the oil be going from the drivers side to the passenger side. I plan to replace the gaskets. Thanks.

Re: New truck
It's possible. If your wondering where it's coming from clean off all the oil, and put some tracer dye in the oil. Then using a blacklight, you'll be able to see exactly where it's coming from.

Re: New truck
Have you checked the gauge pressure sending unit behind the distributor?

Re: New truck
I checked the sender unit. It was wet. I wiped it off. I will replace the valve covers, and then check it for leaks again. Thanks.
